GOLD, BRONZE AND BROWN//MAKEUP

Hello! I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and are excitedly waiting for the New Year!

Today I have a goldy, bronzey, brown makeup look for you, as recently I have really been into my dark smokey eyes, so I wanted to go back to some neutral shades with a bit of glam!

To start off this look, I began with my brows and to do this, I used my beloved Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS Palette. Firstly, I took the wax and patted it across my brows so that any fly aways remained controllable. Next, I groomed my brows with a spoolie and used the slanted end of the brush, included in the palette. Taking the shade 'soft brown', I began filling in my brows, continuing to brush them with the spoolie as I go.

Next, I moved onto my eyes. I began by priming my lid with the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 'fair 1' and covered my entire eye area. I then grabbed my Naked Smoky palette and set the concealer with the shade 'Thirteen'.

For my transition shade, I used 'Combust', as it is a beautiful neutral shade, perfect for blending everything together. I used a large fluffy brush and began blending this into my crease using windscreen wiper and circular motions.

Next, using a flat eyeshadow brush, I took the shade 'Whiskey' and began patting the colour on the very outer corner of the eye. Next using the same brush, I patted the same shade on the inner corner of my lid, being sure to leave the middle of my lid clear. To blend it all together, I took a pencil brush and joined the outer and inner corner shades through the crease.

After this, I used the shade 'Radar' on the same brush used above, and went directly over where I had just placed the colour 'Whiskey' to intensify the colour and add a bit of shimmer to the look.

Following this, on a clean flat eyeshadow brush, I took the shade 'Dirtysweet'. Using some MAC Fix +, I sprayed my brush before applying the shadow as it takes the pigmentation of the shade to amazingness that you would never believe possible. I applied this shade directly in the middle of my lid.

After this, using the shade 'High', I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes and the arch of my brow bone.

For an added POP of glitter to the gold 'Dirtysweet' shadow, I took the Barry M Dazzle Dust in the shade 'Gold Iridecsnt'. Before applying the glitter, I sprayed my brush with MAC Fix + to intensify the pigment and applied it directly on top of the gold shadow in the centre of my lid and blended everything together.

For liner today, I took the L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in the shade 'black' and began lining my lash line and creating a wing. For mascara, I took the L'Oreal Falselash Telescopic in black and coated my lashes. For falsies today I used my all time favourites, the KISS True Volume Lash Ritzy.

For my lower lash line, I took the shade 'radar' on a pencil brush and began blending that from the outer corner of my lower lash line into the middle of my eye. Next, using the shade 'Dirtysweet' on the same pencil brush, from the middle of my lower lash line to the inner corners of my eye, I blended everything together. I then lined my waterline with the Rimmel Soft Khol Kajal Eye Pencil in the shade 'black' and finished off by coating my lower lashes with the same L'Oreal mascara.

To finish off the look, using the Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in the shade 'Capuccino', I began lining my lips. To complete the look, I took the beautiful Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Nude Collection in the shade '48'.
