PALE SKIN & MAUVE LIPS//MAKEUP

I barely ever embrace my natural skin tone, but I love how this look turned out!

FACE

To begin with, I primed my face with the Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm and massaged it into my skin until it began to feel tacky. Next, I took the Collection #ConcealAndLightLikeAPro palette to colour correct. To do this, I used the peach shade to diminish any dark circles as well as the the green shade to neutralise any redness. For foundation, I used my current obsession, the No7 Beautifully Matte foundation in the shade 'warm ivory'. To highlight my face and conceal my under eyes, I used the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in the shade '1 - fair'. To set my under eye area, I mixed the shades vanilla and banana from the Anastasia Beverly Hills light/medium contour kit. To set my entire face, I dusted the Max Factor Loose Powder in the shade 'translucent'. To contour and sculpt my face, I took the shade 'havana' on the hollows of my cheekbones, down the sides of my nose, around my forehead and across my jawline. To highlight, I used the shade 'sand' from the ABH contour kit on the highest points of my cheekbones, down the centre of my nose and on my cupids bow. To blend the highlight and contour together on my cheekbones, I took some of my favourite MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in 'global glow'. For blush, I brushed on the MAC Mineralize Blush in 'petal power'. Finally, to complete the face, I sprayed a few spritz of the MAC Prep + Prime Fix +.

EYES

For my eyes, I began by filling in my brows. To define the shape of my brows, I took the NYX Micro Brow Pencil in the shade 'chocolate'. Before outlining the shape, I gently brushed through with the spoolie end of the brush. After outlining my brows, I filled in the rest of the area with the 'soft brown' shade from the Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS Palette. To set my brows in place, I brushed the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara in 'medium brown' through the direction my brows naturally grow.

Next, I primed my eyes with the same Collection concealer and set that with the 'vanilla' shade from the Smashbox palette. For my transition shade, I mixed the shades 'totally nude' and 'stripped' and blended that out in my crease. Next, to begin darkening the other corners, I gradually added 'sumatra' and blended it into my crease. To give my eye an 'ombre' effect, I took the shade 'fairy godmother' from the Sleek i-Divine Enchanted Forest Palette on the inner corners of my eye, blended out up to the centre of the lid. To blended the two shades in the centre of my lid, I used downward motions between the two colours. To further darken the outer corners, I gently patted 'blackout' from the Smashbox palette and blended it out so that there are no harsh lines. For eyeliner, I am taking my all time favourite, the L'Oreal Superliner in 'black' to create a wing. Before applying the KISS True Volume Lashes in 'chic', I applied the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof mascara in 'black'.

For my lower lash line, I took the shade 'blackout' and 'sumatra' on the outer corners, blending into 'fairy godmother' to reach the inner corners. To line my waterline, I used the Rimmel Soft Khol Pencil in 'black' followed my the same Maybelline mascara. To highlight my inner corners and my brow bone, I used the 'glow' shade from the Smashbox palette.

LIPS

To complete this look, I began by lining my lips with the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 'eastern snob' followed by the NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in the most beautiful mauve shade - embellishment.
