PINK & GOLD HALO//MAKEUP

I have seen a lot of this 'sunset' eye going around recently, and wanted to put my own spin on things... so I created this warmed tone pink and gold halo makeup look! To find out how I got this look and all the products used, read below:

To begin with, I started off by priming my eyes with some concealer and set that with the 'vanilla' shade from the Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS Palette. Next, I took the colour 'stripped' from the same palette, and blended that out softly in my crease. From the Sleek i-Divine Enchanted Forest palette, I took the shade 'beatrice' and blended that out in the crease, as well as the outer corners and inner corners of my eyes to begin to create the 'halo' effect. After this, to further deepen the outer and inner corners of my eyes, I used the slighty darker plum shade 'anastasia' from the same sleek palette. In order for the look to blend seamlessly together, I used the remaining product on my brush to connect the outer and inner corners through the crease. For the centre of my eye, using my finger, I patted the shade 'pumpkin' from the sleek palette, and continued to do this to build up the colour. For eyeliner, I used my favourite L'Oreal Superliner in black to create a winged liner. I then coated my lashes with the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara in black, followed by the KISS True Volume Lash in 'chic'.

For the lower lash line, I mixed the shade 'beatrice' and 'anastasia' and blended that out across the lash line. To highlight the inner corners of my eyes, I used the gold shimmer shade 'pumpkin' and finished off by coating my lower lashes with the same Maybelline mascara.

To line my lips, I used the Max Factor color elixir lip liner in the shade 'brown n nude' followed by the MAC 'kinda sexy' matte lipstick.
