TODAYS LOOK//MAKEUP

For today's face, I opted for simple colours to focus on the contours and highlights of my face. I'm not usually one to wear a flicked eyeliner, unless I'm going on a night out, (purely because I never have enough time to perfect it - no time is ever long enough to perfect liquid eyeliner), but I kinda like it during the day as I feel like it pulls the whole look together.

I mainly used the Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Global Glow to contour as it does exactly what the name gives away; a beautiful shimmery glow without going to overboard with the highlight. I then used the new Collection Contour Kit, which is an absolute BARGAIN at £3.99, (introductory price) at boots, to highlight all the areas light naturally hits the face - top of your cheekbones, cupids bow, tip of the nose, arch of the eyebrows and above the highest point of your brows. Then for the lips, I lined them with my Mac lip pencil - similar here, to give a full pout, followed by Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in number 07 - nude-ist! I love these lipstick ranges as it gives such a soft yet matte finish.
