DRAMATIC CUT CREASE//MAKEUP

I love how this dramatic cut crease makeup look turned out as it is actually the first time I have ever attempted anything like this!

To begin this look, I began by priming my face with the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser primer to fill in any pores and prep my skin. Next, using my brand new Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation in the shade 140 soft beige (which I LOVE) on a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge, I began building up the coverage. What I love about this foundation is that it actually looks like your skin whilst giving you that flawless face! For my concealer, I am using the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC15 as I love a super bright highlight. Using the same Real Techniques sponge, I am blending the concealer in under my eyes, the centre of my chin and forehead, down the bridge of my nose and my cupids bow.

To set all the areas I have just highlighted, I am mixing the shade 'vanilla' and 'banana' from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Contour Kit in Light/Medium.

Using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Cream Contour Kit in 'light', I am taking the shade 'light sculpt' on a flat concealer brush and drawing a line down the hollows of my cheekbones, down the sides of my nose and around my temples on my forehead. I then took the same Real Techniques sponge used earlier to blend it all in.

To set my foundation and the cream contour, I took the MAC Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation in the shade NC25 as I wanted a really flawless face for this look.

To contour and bronze my face, I am mixing the shades Java and Fawn and placing that in the hollows of my cheekbones, around my forehead, down the sides of my nose and under my jawline.

To highlight, I began by using the Benefit High Beam Highlighter and dotting this on the highest points of my cheekbones, cupids bow and down the bridge of my nose. Next, to blend, I used my finger to pat the product in. To intensify the highlight, I am taking the 'glow' shade in the Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS Palette and placing that on all areas that I had just placed 'high beam'.

For blush, using the MAC Mineralize Blush in 'petal power' and a blush brush, I began sweeping this across the apples of my cheeks and blending it in with the contour and highlight.

Moving onto the eyes.. starting off with my brows and using the Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS Palette, I am taking the wax and patting down  any fly aways. Then taking a spoolie, I am combing through my brows and taking the 'soft brown' shade on the slanted eyebrow brush and gently filling in my brows. To set my brows in place, I am using the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara in the Medium Brown.

Before beginning my eyes, I primed them using the MAC Pro Longwear concealer and setting that with the 'banana' shade from the Anastasia Powder Contour Palette.

Taking the Maybelline The Nudes palette and the shade in number 8 on an eyeliner brush, I began carving out the line creating the cut crease. I drew it slight above my natural crease line as I wanted to be able to see a slight hint of it with my eyes open as well as closed.

Next, to smoke out the line, I took the shade '10' on a small pencil brush and began blending above the line, being sure not to fade out the sharp line of the cut crease too much.

I am then going in with the shade 'Nooner' from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette as a transition shade above the line of the cut crease and blending the colours together.

Next, I cleaned up the cut crease line with a slanted brow brush and blended that in. I then took the shade 'Dirtysweet' from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. After spraying my flat eyeshadow brush with some MAC Fix +, I began patting the shade on the outer corners of my eyes.

From the same Naked Smoky palette, using the shade 'High', I then patted that on the centre of my lid, being sure to stay below the cut crease line.

Going back to the Maybelline The Nudes Palette, I am taking the shade number 1 and patting this on the inner corners of my eyes as well as highlighting my brow bone.

Next, using the L'Oreal Paris Superliner in black I lined my lash line. For mascara, I am using the L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic and coating my top and bottom lashes.

For falsies, I am using the Eylure Definition No 121!

Finally, for my lips, I used the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastern Snob to line my lips and followed this using the MAC Please Me lipstick!
