BROWN SMOKY EYE & CAPPUCCINO LIPS//MAKEUP

I wore this look for a night out last week and I absolutely loved the finished product! Check out the products I used and how to get this look below:

FACE

To start off my face, I primed with the new Collection Powered by Witch Mattifying Pore Primer, after moisturising, to prep my skin for foundation etc. I wanted to give my skin a flawless, healthy glow for this look, so I also applied the No7 Skin Illuminator over my entire face for some natural radiance. Next, I moved onto my foundation. I have been loving applying the product in stroking motions across my entire face and then blending it out with a Beauty Blender or a Real Techniques Sponge, so, that is exactly what I did for this look! For this technique, I applied the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in the shade Beige with the pointed foundation brush from the Real Techniques Core Collection and then blended it all out with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for a flawless finish. To add brightness to the centre of my face, I took the Maybelline Instant Age Eraser Eye Concealer in the shade Light and applied this in a triangle shape under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, cupids bow, centre of my chin and forehead then blended it out with the sponge. For some added highlight under my eyes, I also applied a few strokes of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 1 Fair and blended everything together with the same sponge. To set all the areas we have just highlighted, I took the shade Banana from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light/Medium.

Because both the eyes and lips in this look are very bold, I wanted to keep my contour more on the subtle side which was definitely challenging, however by just cream contouring, I was able to create a happy medium.

Using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit in Light on the No7 Concealer Brush, I carved out my cheekbones, sides of my nose, jawline and temples using the shade Light Sculpt. To blend that out, I used the sides of the same Real Techniques sponge. To set my entire face, I took the Max Factor Loose Powder in Translucent on a large fluffy brush and dusted this across my face. For the base of my highlight, I dotted Benefits High Beam Highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones and blended that out with the sponge. To give the highlight an added POP, I applied the shade Sand from the ABH Contour Kit in Light/Medium on top of High Beam as well as down the bridge of my nose and cupids bow. Finally, to bring my whole face together, for blush, I used the MAC Mineralize Blush in Petal Power.

EYES

For all products used on my brows, see my EVERYDAY GLAM//MAKEUP post.

To begin my eyes, I primed my lids using the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 1 Fair and set that with the Max Factor Loose Powder in Translucent. To define my crease, I used the No7 Perfectly Bronzed Dual Bronzer (right side) on a large fluffy blending brush. Next, on a flat brush, I took the shade Whiskey from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette and placed that across my entire lid. Taking a clean blending brush, I then blended the two colours together. For eyeliner, I used the L'Oreal Paris SuperLiner Gel Intenza Liner on a slanted eye brush and created a wing. After this, I applied the L'Oreal Paris Miss Manga Mascara in Black, followed by the Eylure Definition 121 Lashes.

For my lower lashes, I applied the same bronzer shade from the No7 Perfectly Bronzed Dual Bronzer then a few coats of the same Miss Manga mascara.

LIPS

To complete this look, I applied the Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in the shade Cappuccino all over my lips followed by the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in the shade Nude-ist!
