This is a serious 'pushing the boat out' look for me, lol.
It may not look much but double denim is very DAUNTING, in my case anyway. In recent months, I've seen the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner put their own twist of style on the 'double denim' craze, so I thought it was time to give it a go of my own!
It is officially safe to say, I absolutely love it.
When I was putting this look together, I was still unsure of whether it was going to look any bit of good on, but I decided to roll with it and just see what it looks like, and I can strongly say, give it a go yourself, it'll change your life. I actually feel like I'm a character from Friends, lol.
I went for slightly different shades of denim to break up the look a bit and give each piece a unique and individual sense. My oversized denim shirt from Topshop in the light bleached wash shade has this kind of boyfriend feel as it is super baggy and comfy. I was inspired by Kylie Jenner herself and decided to button up the top half of the shirt and tie the bottom half into a knot to make it into a crop top feel. I paired my shirt with my pretty blue ripped joni jeans again from Topshop. They are super comfy and flattering and definitely a wardrobe staple as you can pretty much pair them with anything!
For heels I went for the classic court, this time in a crisp white shade from Missguided. They give such a sophisticated look by simply slipping them on your feet, which is great when it comes to taking your outfit from day to night.
